Saturday, September 24 2011 For its sixth annual interdisciplinary conference in English studies, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro's English Graduate Student Association invites you to join them as they work to build a community of graduate scholars. This conference provides forums for ongoing research in an encouraging and receptive academic environment. Additionally, the Writing into the Profession conference brings graduate scholars into contact with established professionals who can answer questions about best practices, research methods, and the field of English Studies. Instead of asking you to bend your interests to a specific theme, this conference allows you to explore what it means to be part of the English profession as you present your work, honestly engage your peers’ work, and participate in a comfortable, open forum with current professionals who will answer questions you may have about the daily practices of scholars in our field.
